What is odds? A good illustration of this is for example you have a race horse which carries an odd of 20 is to 1, this means that if your horse wins the race, then you win 20$ for every 1 $ that you wagered. This is exactly how texas holdem odds is. Considering for example that there is 20$ in the pot. Of the 20$ in the pot you have 5$ in it.
